Castle Rock, CO
Garrett Tisdall is a performance coach specializing in athletic development, dedicated to enhancing the performance of athletes across various sports. As a former collegiate right-handed pitcher, Tisdall spent five years competing at Colorado Mesa University, where he honed his skills on the field and graduated in 2024 with degrees in Exercise Science and Business Management.
Tisdall's journey with Next ERA began in 2015, initially as an athlete. His passion for sports performance and a deep interest in the physical rehabilitation process led him to shadow our physical therapists, gaining valuable insights into injury prevention and recovery. This experience enriched his understanding of the biomechanics and physiological demands of athletes, further fueling his transition into a performance coach role.
For the past three years, Tisdall has leveraged his dual experience as both an athlete and a coach to effectively train and develop athletes within the Next ERA program. His comprehensive approach to coaching goes beyond physical conditioning. Tisdall focuses on the holistic development of his athletes, integrating mental preparation and nutritional strategies to help them achieve their full potential. His contributions also extend to team training programs, where he works to elevate the collective performance of sports teams through specialized conditioning routines.
Garrett Tisdall's unique perspective, shaped by his time as a collegiate athlete, his shadowing of physical therapy, and his continued commitment to coaching, makes him an invaluable asset to the Next ERA team and the athletes he mentors.
